Centella Asiatica is a plant that is used as an Ayurvedic medicine in Sri Lanka. It is also used to make a salad that is very popular in common Sri Lankan households.
- 100 g of Gotukola (Centella Asiatica)
- ½ a medium size onion
- Half a cup of grated coconut
- 1 tbsp of Maldives fish (Optional
- Lime to taste
- Salt to taste
- Finely chop the Gotukola
- Finely chop the onion
Add all the ingredients to a deep bowl and mix it well using your fingers. Finally, adjust salt and lime for your taste. Isn’t this the simplest recipe of all?
Use it as a side dish to rice.
